A CMS or Content Management System is used for the control and editing of website content. This can include text and images on your website, or can even include electronic files and documents. The idea behind a CMS is to open up a website and make it user friendly, and give people who aren't web developers the tools for editing their own website and files over the internet. Our VDS System
At Websites for Childcare we have developed our own custom content management system, nicknamed VDS (Virtual Design Suite). We have been working to create an in-house tool that can accomplish all of our design and development solutions in the easiest and quickest amount of time possible. We have been developing VDS with the idea of modular web design. That means that every feature is an add-in, that can be turned on, or off, without affecting any other part of your site. This is useful for creating a custom solution for each of our clients, using only the tools they require, keeping the price of your website to a minimum.
The other major feature of our VDS system is the unique updates, every time we improve or upgrade any part of our CMS, the improvements are rolled out across all of our sites, and every one of our clients can enjoy the benifits of the updates to the modules that they use.
